Kaleb Hatfield is a Senior at East Newton High School in Granby, Missouri. He is President of his High School’s SODA, a local prevention and advocacy group, and he serves as a youth representative of the Newton County Community Coalition; assisting with community projects. He served as a Youth Ambassador last year as well. Prevention is important to him because of a family history of substance use and behavioral health disorders explaining, “I’ve been through quite the ordeal, and it had really affected my life. So this is why I’m an advocate. This is why I’m passionate. This is why I want to have a platform to speak to others and hopefully inspire them to change either themselves, their communities, their families, or friends or all the above!
