The SAPST consists of a 4-day/32-hour interactive, in-person training. This innovative training offers attendees a comprehensive introduction to the substance use prevention field. Grounded in current research and SAMHSA’s Strategic Prevention Framework, the SAPST is designed to develop the knowledge and skills needed to implement effective, data-driven prevention strategies that reduce behavioral health disparities and improve wellness. It is appropriate for entry-level prevention practitioners, as well as professionals working in related fields.
