The SAPST consists of a five-hour, self-paced, online module, followed by a 4-day/26-hour interactive, in-person training. This innovative training, combining online and in-person components, offers attendees a comprehensive introduction to the substance use prevention fie4ld. Grounded in current research and SAMHSA’s Strategic Prevention Framework, the SAPST is designed to develop the knowledge and skills needed to implement effective, data-driven prevention strategies that reduce behavioral health disparities and improves wellness. It is appropriate for entry-level prevention practitioners, as well as professionals working in related fields.
