A coalition is a mechanism for increasing the power or leverage of groups or individuals. By identifying, recruiting, and retaining volunteers in an effective manner, a coalition can have an even greater impact on prevention efforts by leveraging the skills and talents of its community members.
This webinar provides an overview of the steps needed to build a sustainable volunteer prevention workforce by applying the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) to successful engagement and retention practices. Through lecture and interactive activities, participants will acquire the knowledge and tools needed to assist community prevention coalitions in devising prevention solutions at the local level to build a volunteer workforce.
